Lessons
Lessons are structured as one hour slot times. It is normally one subject per hour and lessons are at least weekly. A regular slot time and day is taken by pupils. Lessons are hourly from 4pm to 9pm on weekdays. Weekend slots are also available on request. For pupils doing re-sits or home schooling there is also the option of daytime weekday lessons.
Lesson fees range from £25 to £35.
English Language & English Literature
The bedrock of success in English Language is writing. I have made it my mission to create writers from my English classes, from Key Stage 2 pupils all the way through to GCSE. Understanding writing techniques and engaging readers in your writing will pay dividends with exam marks, as well as make comprehension a more accessible challenge from an understanding of these techniques.
Maths
I like to keep maths straightforward. My methods are clear, as well as a pathway to success. Bespoke maths learning offers incredible opportunities to focus on key areas that pupils find challenging, in a way that simply cannot be facilitated in a classroom. Maths should be fun and accessible and with me - it is!
Other subjects on request
Whilst most tutoring is predominantly maths and English, I also offer a range of other subjects upon request - especially to GCSE level.
