My name is John Vaughan, and I'm a qualified teacher providing online tutoring services in the UK, and internationally. My track record is of the highest standard, as exemplified in my reviews and testimonials. I, of course, hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate.
What Do I Teach?
The core of my tutoring is in English and Maths, however I also teach other subjects on request.
English Language & English Literature
From years 3 and 4, and developing a grasp of writing and reading skills, all the way through 11 plus and entry exams into GCSE work and beyond.
Maths
Maths should be fun, uncomplicated and accessible. Who doesn't love solving puzzles?!
John is an amazing tutor.
He managed with consistent teaching and feedback to get Noah our son from a low C in English Literature GCSE to a high A* in this year's GCSE . Noah also got an A* in English Language despite being in the 3rd set of English. This is testament to John's teaching and support . Noah obviously put in the work but we didn't expect such excellent results. I would highly recommend John. With commitment and hard work I am confident any student can excel in English with John's help.
